Daylong Retreats

What is a Daylong Retreat?

Day-Long Retreats offer the opportunity for deep meditation practice and contemplative reflection with the convenience of a single day format.

Where and When?

4 dates in 2025 - Jan. 26, Apr. 27, Oct. 5, and Dec.7,
9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST
The Tom condominium, social room, 23 Campus Trail, Huntsville, ON P1H 0B3, Canada

The Muskoka Mindfulness Community has been holding day-long retreats for many years. Now offered four times per year, this silent day is a precious opportunity! The days are guided by Bill Knight or one of several Sangha Leaders that mentor with Bill.
 
Schedule:
Arrive at 9:00 am. Noble silence begins at 9:15. Guided meditations, silent meditation, mindful movement, walking meditation, eating meditation (bring your own lunch), and dharma talks are offered throughout the day. Noble silence begins at 9:15. 
You can also try a half-day by arriving at 9:00am and staying until the lunch break or arriving during the lunch break and staying until after the closing circle at 4:30pm.​

Space is limited for in person attendance - Hybrid option available - stay tuned in your email for updates. In order to attend you must be on the email list and will receive information before the daylong.
